The Spanish football league, LaLiga, has revealed some of the challenges their anti-piracy department face in fighting illegal broadcasts.

Each year the department blocks over one million copyright-protected videos, reports 650 illegal TV operators and blocks more than 2000 domains which provide illegal content to more than 200 million users. Financial losses from piracy add up to 231 million euros in Spain alone.
