On 24 November 2022 the Attorney General announced a review of Australia’s copyright enforcement regime. The Australian Government is carrying out this review to ensure copyright enforcement mechanisms in our laws remain appropriate, effective and proportionate.
This review provides an opportunity for the screen industry to provide input into how the current system is working and what could be done to improve it.
The Government has released an issues paper for public consultation and will be accepting submissions until 7 March 2023.
