A judge in Delhi ordered the pre-emptive block on a number of ‘rogue’ websites just a few days prior to the release of Sony Pictures Animation “Spider Man: Across The Spider-Verse” on June 2nd. According to Piracy Monitor, the ruling was an attempt to stem illegal redistribution of a film before its commercial release.
