Creative Content Australia (CCA), the anti-piracy advocacy group representing the screen industry, has welcomed Big Studio Movie Licence, a copyright compliance solution, as its newest member.
Big Studio Movie Licence, part of Heritage Films International, provides a blanket movie licence to organisations including senior living communities and religious institutions so they can enjoy films legally from Hollywood’s biggest studios.
CCA now has 15 members in total whose interests span the entire screen industry ecosystem and represent the far-reaching impact of copyright infringement which puts jobs at risk and undermines business models and investment in screen content.
Graham Burke AO, Chair of Creative Content Australia, said: “We’re proud to welcome Big Studio Movie Licence as the latest screen industry organisation to join CCA and support our mission to promote legal screen content and stop piracy in Australia.”
Rod Hopping, CEO of Heritage Films International, said: “Big Studio Movie Licence are excited to be joining Creative Content Australia to assist in raising awareness about the importance of copyright and content protection through the promotion of the legal use of movies for the enjoyment of communities and the protection of the screen industry.”
