Motion Picture Association Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin used his annual State of the Industry address at CinemaCon to reaffirm the body’s commitment to protecting copyright in the age of AI.
He said that upholding copyright is an economic necessity as the creative industries contribute over $2 trillion to America’s GDP and provide paychecks to 11.6 million American workers.
