A 22-month prison term and a USD$120,000 fine was handed down to a British man who admitted being part of a global piracy ring that for over a decade distributed unlicensed films online, resulting in substantial financial damage to movie and TV production businesses.
The remorseful 52 year-old apologised for his actions saying he had gone down “the wrong path”.
