ACE, the MPA’s anti-piracy organisation, adds first partners in Asia

Since it’s formation in 2017, ACE has achieved huge wins in the fight against piracy in North America. Now, they are rolling out the playbook globally by partnering with Hong Kong-based streaming platform Viu and Thailand’s leading satellite Pay TV operator True Visions. 

Speaking about the strategy, the MPA’s Charles Rivkin said: “By growing ACE’s footprint throughout the APAC region, we are building new relationships with local law enforcement authorities and other key partners in our ongoing effort to shut down piracy operations around the world. These new members further strengthen ACE’s global reach and collective approach to disrupting a piracy ecosystem that harms the creative economy worldwide.”
