Amazon has filed a lawsuit in California against a group of online stores that sell pirated DVDs. One of the sites, which is run by an individual based in China, operates in Australia and has obtained an Australian registered trademark.
Online piracy remains a threat to Amazon as the company has a significant content library available through Amazon Prime.
