This past month has seen two massive television debuts with HBO’s first Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon, and Prime Video’s J.R.R. Tolkien-inspired series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, both enjoying massive premiere audiences.
However, data analytics company MUSO has also reported that the series are both dominating pirated TV content.
Despite The Rings of Power debuting in 240 territories, and House of the Dragon in 61 territories, the programs have a combined 63.4% share of TV piracy consumption.
