This month the content industry’s tech minds came together in Amsterdam for the annual IBC conference. Dave Duvall, Chief Information Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery, spoke at the conference sharing some of the challenges and opportunities facing the newly merged company.
When asked “What keeps him awake at night?”, Duvall cited content protection and the threat of piracy, referencing the new HBO series House of the Dragon. He talked about the risks associated with content theft due to the large scale of investment required to create films and TV shows and the cyber and content protection required to safeguard the program.
