The Motion Picture Association last week marked its 100th birthday with an awards ceremomy to honour four individuals from the global policy and creative communities who allowed the screen industry to flourish. Among those recognised were lawmakers who have lead initiatives to ensure fairness within the American copyright system and supported laws that keep criminal enforcement up to date with advances in piracy technology.
