The government of Belarus has passed a law that permits the use of media and IP in the country without the consent of copyright holders from foreign nations.
While the government states that the new law will help the shortage of goods in the domestic market, as they face financial sanctions, it will also have detrimental knock on effects for copyright theft in countries around the world.
